Aims and Scope

Aim:

Alexandria Journal of Biotechnology is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to promoting field-based activities in both developing and developed countries. It serves as a unique forum for the exchange of ideas across various fields, including industry, health, pharmaceuticals, environment, biomolecular science, biotechnology, and biomedical research. Additionally, the journal aligns with the sustainability goals outlined in Egypt's Vision 2030.

Objectives:

  • Facilitate Field-Based Communication: Alexandria Journal of Biotechnology primary objective is to facilitate communication among field researchers by providing a platform to share best practices and lessons learned from their programs, especially those implemented in developing countries. The journal recognizes the importance of addressing issues related to health, the environment, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology through field-based activities.
  • Promote Best Practices Sharing: The journal aims to be an independent platform for key players in the development sector to share best practices, express viewpoints, share experiences, and collaborate with international development actors worldwide. It welcomes contributions relevant to the Middle East region and publishes research on environmental challenges, biomedical experiences, clinical investigations, and pharmaceutical research in the region.
  • Encourage Research on Traditional Medicines: The Journal encourages research on the biological effects of traditional medicines and pharmacological and physiological interventions. It welcomes studies that focus on designing and developing new protocols, reporting standards, processes, methods, pharmaceutic. The s, quality control, instruments, clinical practices, and their translation into healthcare systems.
  • Support Innovation and Knowledge Dissemination: The journal is committed to promoting researchers with a wealth of knowledge to generate new ideas, problem-solving models, and disseminate world-class research findings for the benefit of academia, industry, and policy makers. It strives to foster innovation and contribute to the advancement of science and technology.
  • Promote Interdisciplinary Research: Alexandria journal of biotechnology aims to bridge the gap between pharmaceutical, medical, and environmental biotechnology by encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers. We provide a space for scholars to exchange ideas and explore innovative solutions to address complex challenges in healthcare and environmental sustainability.
